Moses

- The fiery furnace
- The handwriting on the wall
- The story of the Book of Esther
Significant Bible characters of this time period include:
- Daniel's companions, Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego (Hebrew names, Hananiah, Mishael, Azariah)

- King Cyrus
