Athaliah
Afflicted of the Lord, Jah has constrained
Strong's #H6271
Queen Athaliah of Judah was the only woman to rule over either the Kingdom of Israel or Judah. She was the seventh sovereign over Judah, ruling from 841 to 835 B.C.
Athaliah, the daughter of Israel's King Ahab and Jezebel, married Jehoram who became Judah's king from 853 to 841. After his death, their son Ahaziah ruled only for one year. When Ahaziah died, she moved to rule the kingdom as sole dictator.
Athaliah quickly had all of King David's descendants murdered except for one, Joash, who as a baby was hid from her (2Kings 11). She also allowed her sons to pillage Jerusalem's temple and offer its sacred objects to the pagan false God Baal (2Chronicles 24:7).
Known as a devilish monarch (2Chronicles 24:7), she is one of only ten Biblical women who caused the death of other people. She, along with her mother Jezebel, also shares the bloody distinction of being the only women to initiate a mass murder in Scripture.

Jah (Jehovah) has helped
Strong's #H5838
Several Biblical people are named Azariah. One of these was the tenth ruler over the Kingdom of Judah. Also referenced as Uzziah (meaning, "strength of Jah," Strong's #H5818), Azariah ruled from 792 to 740 B.C.
God struck Azariah with leprosy for his foolish and prideful attempt to usurp priestly authority and offer incense in Jerusalem's temple (2 Chronicles 26:16 - 20). For the rest of his reign (possibly ten years) his son Jotham not only co-ruled with him but also was responsible for administering justice.
Azariah's fifty-two years on the throne was the second longest reign of any ruler over Judah or Israel. As such, He is referenced by six Biblical prophets (Isaiah, Ezra, Nehemiah, Hosea, Amos and Zechariah).
