Evil pursues sinners, but to the righteous, good shall be repaid (Proverbs 13:21).

Whoever rewards evil for good, evil will not depart from his house (Proverbs 17:13).

This is an evil among all things that are done under the sun, that there is one event that happens to all. Yea, also the heart of the sons of men is full of evil, and madness is in their heart while they live, and after that they go to the dead (Ecclesiastes 9:3).

The wicked covet the catch of evil men, but the root of the righteous yields fruit. The wicked is ensnared by the transgression of his lips, but the righteous will come through trouble (Proverbs 12:12 - 13).

The desire of the righteous is only good; but the expectation of the wicked is wrath (Proverbs 11:23).
