Good versus Evil

Evil pursues sinners, but to the righteous, good shall be repaid (Proverbs 13:21).

Whoever rewards evil for good, evil will not depart from his house (Proverbs 17:13).

The eyes of the Lord are in every place, watching the evil and the good (Proverbs 15:3).

Remember now your Creator in the days of your youth, before the evil days come, and the years of old age draw near, when you shall say, 'I have no pleasure in them' (Ecclesiastes 12:1).

But he who listens to me (wisdom) shall live securely and will be at ease from the dread of evil (Proverbs 1:33).

For God gives wisdom, and knowledge, and joy to a man who is good in His sight. But to the sinner He gives labor . . . (Ecclesiastes 2:26).

Will they not go astray who devise evil? But kindness and truth will be to those who devise good (Proverbs 14:22).

Because sentence against an evil work is not executed speedily, therefore the heart of the sons of men is fully set in them to do evil (Ecclesiastes 8:11).

Do not withhold good from those who deserve it, when it is in your power to act (Proverbs 3:27).

Though a sinner does evil a hundred times, and his days are prolonged, yet surely I know that it shall be well with those who fear God, who fear before Him (Ecclesiastes 8:12).

This is an evil among all things that are done under the sun, that there is one event that happens to all. Yea, also the heart of the sons of men is full of evil, and madness is in their heart while they live, and after that they go to the dead (Ecclesiastes 9:3).

The wicked covet the catch of evil men, but the root of the righteous yields fruit. The wicked is ensnared by the transgression of his lips, but the righteous will come through trouble (Proverbs 12:12 - 13).

The desire of the righteous is only good; but the expectation of the wicked is wrath (Proverbs 11:23).

Who can find a virtuous woman? For her value is far above rubies. The heart of her husband trusts safely in her, so that he shall have no lack of gain. She will do him good and not evil all the days of her life (Proverbs 31:10 - 12).
